Union Square

Where downtown meets midtown and everyone meets everyone. The farmer's market's still one of NYC's best, and that Whole Foods is basically a tourist attraction. Always something going down in the park, from protests to chess hustlers. L train kids mix with office workers and street performers. Great people watching, better shopping.
